We are proud to announce that effective 1st November 2019 we are opening an office in Santiago, Chile (Phibion Chile SpA) to service the rapidly growing mining and tailings management opportunities in Latin America (LATAM). This announcement complements our recent expansion into the North American and Jamaican markets.
To manage our market development, we have appointed Mr Marco Miranda as our Global Business Development Manager recently of Trade and Investment Queensland where he acted as the Director of Business Development for the Santiago office. Marco has extraordinary business and mining connections within Latin America and is highly regarded.
Marco will be based in Chile and will work with our Australian management team enhancing our global reach to expand our operations around the world. He will have direct responsibilities for assisting all of our clients, developing government and regulator relations and developing new company opportunities. We look forward to working closely with Marco and this next exciting phase of business growth for Phibion.
