Tailings Optimisation with Accelerated Mechanical Consolidation

We’ll be attending the Hermosillo Tailings Conference next month, where our team will deliver an oral presentation on field results from a large-scale Accelerated Mechanical Consolidation (AMC) trial at an active copper tailings storage facility (TSF) in Latam. tailings optimisation

The presentation will share measured geotechnical data, including dry and bulk density, undrained shear strength, surface moisture, infiltration rate and cone resistance, demonstrating how in-situ tailings consolidation can accelerate dewatering, improve tailings strength and stability, and reduce long-term tailings dam risk in line with GISTM principles.

Our Head of Tailings will be on site throughout the conference, supporting both the oral presentation and the release of our new technical white paper on tailings consolidation and water management. We look forward to engaging with current and future clients to discuss tailings behaviour, consolidation performance, water recovery and risk reduction during this important industry event.

If you’re attending Hermosillo and would like to connect, feel free to reach out.
